ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Reporting to the Regional Commercial Director & CEO, the Technical Sales Manager will be accountable for the sourcing of new technical service business opportunities globally. The role will also have direct input / responsibility for customer account management & Sales P&L.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Budget construction for the Aviation business (Volume & Margin – by Customer and service)
  • Responsibility for the 3 Year Customer sales pipeline
  • Market intelligence reporting to senior management
  • Provide day to day supervision for the Sales Administrator/Support
  • Ensuring the continuing profitability of existing contracts and ad-hoc business requests
  • Lead the preparation for the delivery and submission of completed tender RFPs to large Leasing, Banking & Airline clients

The Technical Records Manager is a newly created position located at the new AerAdvise headquarters in Dublin. The candidate will be located in Dublin and will report to SVP Technical in Dublin. This role will be responsible for supporting our clients aircraft transitions, repossessions and surveillance by providing the necessary technical records during these events as well as overall management of the technical records library. In this position, you will need to have excellent organization skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and be proactive in planning and scheduling.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prior experience managing an aviation industry digital records system
  • Familiarity with aviation regulatory terminology
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of aircraft records indexing & delivery document folders
  • Development, monitoring and execution of technical records and library.
  • Filing and recovery of all aircraft & engine data records
  • Perform QA inspections of external records projects
  • Experience in performing aircraft Audit / Periodic Inspections from a records perspective a plus
  • Experience in aircraft records recovery during distressed situations such as reposession
  • Experience in dealing with aviation leasing & airline documentation teams
  • Coordinating and supporting aircraft surveillance and onsite visit activities with international customers
  • Reviewing 3rd party contracts involving the accessing of publications and proprietary information.
  • Planning support of aircraft records or aircraft transition projects globally
  • Responsible for scanning new/acquired aircraft delivery records, surveillance records, and any other records deemed necessary by management
  • Other Technical administration activities as required.
  • Travel: 25 – 80%

This new department will provide powerplant engineering support and expertise not only to the AerAdvise in field technical inspectors globally but also our engineering planning group involving both our CAMO, Consultancy & Advisory business units. The initial position will involve participating and developing all key company activities centering around the key functions of the particular role and department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Development of powerplant business unit
  • Advises commercial team on on powerplant related projects
  • Development & management of new business oportunities
  • Coordinates Major/Minor Repairs/alterations with the appropriate regulatory and technical authorities as per client requirements
  • Management of all client engine reporting
  • Provides Internal training as required
  • Remains technically current on all assigned systems and components
  • Maintains oversight on all related CFR’s and regulatory changes affecting ongoing projects
  • Provides technical assistance to support AerAdvise in field inspector services at third party maintenance facilities
  • May assist in the coordination of special repairs for discrepancies not covered by the manufacturers technical manuals on behalf of the customer
